The retainer that started it all, way back in 1983. The idea for the Original Cotton Chums was born on the river by a crafty raft guide who was tired of seeing clients lose their sunglasses to the rapids of the Colorado River. Living in the back of a VW van, that raft guide used a $60 sewing machine to create the very first Chums retainers.
Fast forward to today and this product is still manufactured in the USA! Made from soft, durable, lightweight 100% Cotton that will slide easily onto a wide variety of frames and features an adjustable bead for a comfortable and secure fit. Hang with your Chums and be equipped for any adventure.

I first bought eyes glasses chums many years ago and absolutely love them, I use to find them everywhere, but it's been getting hard to find until someone mentions that I can order them on line, I was so happy I ended up buying 3 of them......

Eyeglasses keepers that work
I tried many types of eyeglasses keepers/strings previously and gave them all up. They fell off the glasses; they were cumbersome; they were unreliable… So, I bought more disposable readers (that’s what I use my Chums for now). All of which I’d lose or forget - until I bought these Chums. Haven’t lost or bought a new pair of readers in months. :)

My brother got a pair and once i tried them on my glasses, i knew i had to get some for myself! I ordered 3 ! Love all the color selections! And being able to pull them and tighten them onto my face is awesome as well!
