Rover Cross-Body Bag

This is a good bag already but it could be better with some design tweaks. I’ve been using this bag almost daily for the last year. I love it. It fits my essentials and it’s perfect for quick around town or for travel. My issue with it is the strap is much too long to wear as a hip pack. Shoulder bag, fine. Crossbody, perfect. Hip pack, laughable. So I decided to tweak it with a few hardware pieces. I bought a buckle and two single gatekeepers that looked similar to the style of the original clips. I knew I wanted to keep the original pieces for swapping between the hip pack and crossbody strap system. The hardest part was actually taking the plastic clips off without damaging fabric. I was going to hand sew so I didn’t want to take the other stitches off. Ultimately a little elbow grease and thread later came out great.

I love ALMOST everything about this bag except that I can’t wear it as a fanny pack…the strap is too long for that. I plan to use this on my trip to Portugal so hopefully, I can find a shorter strap…then it will be ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!!

Easy, minimalist design and great color/fabric combos. I wish it had a sewn-in interior key/wallet clip, but there’s so much to like. Works as an accessories bag without the strap, so pulls double duty when traveling. Their mesh is stretchy and that’s different but useful. Love that the main compartment has two zippers, so I can decide where they meet or “lock” them with a small carabiner.

I love this larger bag—I am sorry to have missed it in the Pines colorway. I hope Chums continues to grow their brand’s bag line. They’ve got something great here.

This is a great bag! I carry it as my purse every day. I love the compartments it has, perfect for holding your phone and keys separately, and more. Plus, fun colors. Highly recommend!

This is a great bag for the essentials: phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, a small notebook, a pen, and some chapstick. It can be worn many different ways (sling, waist, shoulder, crossbody) or you can remove the strap and put it in a larger bag.

The only thing it's missing that I wish it had was a key lanyard.
