Braided Leather

Very nice, but definitely very long.

Always had the leather braided with small loops and a slide to secure it - not the large rubber loops that they now have. I assume changed over to the rubber loops for durability, but too large and stick out sideways from my Maui Jims. Wish I could get the old style ends.

I like the look, and it functions well.

Each one is awesome in their own way. Love the design and the colors. Not to mention the usefulness of the engineering.

I purchased 3 leashes of this style rubber slide-on attachment. The leather rubber slot is widest at 7/16" It won't go to 1/2" and I wouldn't try to force it father as eventually the rubber will split from too much pressure. The other 2 leashes fall even shorter of proper position, all leaving cord over my ears. Unfortunately none of these are usable with my eyewear.
So. Back to drawing board finding an eyeglass leash that functions as intended.
I can provide photos of issues stated.

Very dissatisfied with this product, after only 3 days of use the rubber connectors both fell off. It did not take any force other than dropping my sunglasses off my face onto my chest to make these connectors break. Gave an extra star because the leather strand itself is of nice quality. These would be an excellent product of the connector issue was resolved.

I bought my first leather Chums last year after my Cataract surgery, and after my surgery my eyes were much more sensitive to sunlight and I needed to wear sunglasses much more than before surgery and occasionally readers which I keep in every room. My first Chums retainer was sold at the out of town Sunglass Hut where I bought my sunglasses, so I only bought one retainer. I needed more retainers and bought several other brands here and there and they were either to short or they kept sliding off my frames. Thank goodness Chums was printed on my first one so, I googled your website and ordered 3 more. Love them!

I've tried other "retainers" and nothing works better for me! I've also tried to find these in different retail outlets, but was unsuccessful, so I came straight to the source. This may sound gross, but I like the leather because it doesn't retain the sweat "smell". I'll be coming back for more, IF these ever wear out.

Longer than the usual leather eyglass keep. Not the thin leather veneer glued to a fiber core found in Brand "X". Assuming the rubber frame holer is reasonably durable, these are my new "go-to."

I have ordered these in the past. They last and fit my readers. Will order again when these break.

I had a suede retainer and really loved it but found it would always wind itself around the temple of my glasses so that I had to untangle it often before putting them on. This leather retainer is very nice and sturdy and is stiffer so it doesn't get wrapped around the temples. I wear it all the time so I can keep track of my glasses. It is fantastic and working really well for me.

Haven't gotten them yet, seems like they have been back and forth across north america a few times lol but I'm sure they will be great. No worries.

The leather is soft and comfortable, yet strong.💪 Nylon is great but leather shows a little bit more of what type of person you are. Wearing leather has class!
