No Tail Adjustable

I've been rockin' the tail-less Chums for years all over the Colorado Plateau. They are the best.

Nice quality but they don’t fit on my glasses.

I have worn the tail version of these for at least 15 years. I wear readers around my neck all day. I love the cotton, soft feel, and that they are cotton, not fake fiber. I love that they are so secure my glasses have never come off the straps, regardless of even getting them caught on something. In contrast to others here, I love that they do not hang real close up to my face, but drape down. I rarely tighten them onto my face, but that is possible. Only wish is for them to not fade so quickly.

Have been using Chums since 1986 and only chums. Mike Taggett gave me my first pair when I was rowing baggage boat for Grand Canyon Dories. Love the soft cotton feel and easy to wash. My favorites are the “no tail” but have used all styles. Best thing is they work. If you’ve ever flipped a raft it’s nice to know your glasses are going to still be around and not at the bottom of the river. More than once they have saved my expensive glasses. ⚡️⚡️😎⚡️⚡️

These are not as described. The strap does not adjust to a small enough size to really secure glasses on your head. Even at the smallest size, the strap is still loose and floppy around my head. If you need your glasses to stay put, don't buy this. I have an average size head and an above average amount of hair. I will be trying to return these.

Ever since finding the No-Tail version, I don't have that "fly landing on the back of my neck" feeling I got with the standard retainer. However, when will this product be made in UV-fade-resistant polyester. Cotton is comfortable, but my retainers always look grunge after use and it's not solely from contact with sweat and dirt. The cotton fades horribly and turns brownish. As I will tend to sweat while wearing my sunglasses, these retainers do a great job of keeping my 100% plastic Oakleys from sliding down my nose (no rubber as nose pads or temple sleeves). However, the the cotton does absorb the sweat. When you take off the glasses to towel off, putting them back on wet feels a little gross. Polyester or any other wicking synthetic might be a nice up-charge option for this retainer.

Just received these….. I’ve got a big head and they don’t go any tighter?
What do people do with a normal head?
Am I missing how to tighten these or something ?

Once you get them on they are com for but they are extremely hard to get on the ear piece. In fact, I had to cut each a little so that I don't bend my glasses out of shape.

THESE ARE THE BEST SUNGLASS STRAP FROM THE BEST COMPANY ON THE PLANET. I accidently ordered like a traffic cone orange thinking it was regular orange and wrote them and they instantly send me the correct orange free of charge and did not make me send the traffic cone orange back.

I love this product and have purchased many in many colors. I wear one all the time and my glasses are now super comfortable all the time. However, I ordered 4 dark forest no tail adjustables as gifts for friends. The ones that came were more like olive green/gray. Still love the functionality (5 stars) but disappointed with 4 shipped in the wrong color.

Pros:
Fits great on most glasses.
Comfortable on the back of your head.
No "tail" flopping around on the back of your neck.

Con: They need to make it shorter! I know this is the same complaint others have had, and I have to say its true. I have the adjusters all the way against the ear pieces of my sunglasses and its still not tight. In the summer I don't want my glasses sliding down my nose. If this issue were addressed these would be perfect!

I have been using Chums for 25 years, I love them. I live in my sunglasses, I am a athletic Attendant at a High school, I drive a tractor everyday, line athletic fields and chums save my glasses.

I the no tail design and it has always worked very well. The only reason I am giving these 4 stars is they need more color options. I think they should offer all the color options that the original offers at least in the solid colors. Other than that this is the best designed product chums has

Does not tighten to snug and hold glasses in place. Still have to push my glasses back in place every few minutes. Not for active sports. Needs to be 2 inches shorter.

I use while cycling with prescrip sunglasses...doesn't snug-up but, cotton on earpiece works well to keep glasses from slipping down while riding.

I love this retainer! I was tired of the tail hanging down my back. It just annoyed me. These are perfect and I like that they are adjustable and no annoying tail! Thank you Chums!

Exactly what I was looking for and it did not disappoint. Bought one for my sister and she loves it as well!

While it works smoothly, it is not designed to close up snugly behind head for active pursuits, which seems a natural use for this tail-less design.

Product was okay but I just received it 2 days ago. Took forever to get here

I never knew that the no tails were available. Total game changer. I will be buying more. I’ve worn chums for the better part of 20 years. From my time deployed overseas to being out on the river chums have always been my go to, but I’ve always hated the tail.

No Tail Adjustable

I got these No Tails to hold my glasses to my face....they don't. I wish they made these smaller as I can't get them tight enough. At least my glasses don't fall to the ground when I'm bent over pulling weeds, but they still slide off my face which is annoying. I purchased two so will 'gift' one to someone with a giant neck and head. Guess I should have purchased the kind with a 'tail'.
