Tech Cord

I'm been using the "clear" version daily for over a month. It's sturdy and reliable. My glasses have never fallen out or even become loose. Other people barely notice the cord because it's almost transparent. I used a permanent marker to darken the part that overlaps with my sideburns for more discretion. The silicone texture can stick a little if your skin gets a bit tacky in the heat, but overall this is a great product. Highly recommend it.

I recently had cataract surgery, meaning I need glasses only for reading. Consequently, I am constantly switching between the reading glasses and sunglasses when I'm outside. Inside, they are on my neck or head until I need them.

I wanted something lightweight and durable. I tried some from a local store and an on-line retailer. They were fine, but not for me... too heavy, too fancy.

I took a chance and ordered one in every color because, of course, I have " cheaters" in backpacks, car, etc. They are lightweight and easy to use. I've only had them a few weeks, so I can't say anything about durable yet. I suspect they will be durable because I've already put them to a lot of use.

I'm very happy with them.

I’ve been buying these Tech Cords for over 10 years from Chums. I have them on all 6 pairs of glasses/sunglasses I own. They last long. Purchased 90 days ago in Beaufort, SC on a visit and loved that you really could not see the cord, and they are so lightweight.
For me, the loop naturally laid in the crease where the glasses bend and thus never slide around.
Today one end of the loop broke and it was a clean-cut from the end of the frame.
I have just purchased another pair and this time I will try not to let them lay in the creases.

I found all these reviews very helpful.. I ordered the clear ones so that they are not obvious. They are PERFECT! One person mentioned that her glasses were falling out of the holders ..but I found that by pushing up the tabs and applying pressure, they hold very tightly..I have had no trouble at all. At last, I have glasses holders that don't look like a distracting necklace or dangling black cords. these are PERFECT

I use this to keep my glasses from falling to the floor when I wear my mask, and it does that job very well. This doesn’t adjust like some of the other Chums products to securely keep glasses in place when you do rigorous activity, so if that’s what you need, this isn’t the product you want. This product is more for everyday use. I like that it’s clear and less noticeable.

It's exactly what I wanted - lightweight, simple and clear. I can wear it with anything and it doesn't look bulky, too sporty or too foo-foo.

Love Chums but this time I got the Tech clear cord to go with my clear frames. Perfect match. Bonus that they are weightless, waterproof and rustproof.

These eyeglass cords are the absolute best. I agree with other users that they are weightless and you hardly know you are wearing them. I bought the black ones for my husband (who wonders how he ever got along without them and now does not lose his glasses) and bought the clear for me. I love them because you can barely see them. I am going to order more...just in case.

I was very excited about my order I had been looking for sometime for an eye glass holder that would match all my clothing.After a week the holders at the ends would not stay on my glasses I even double wrapped the ends still the same .

I love these in the clear non-color.

Would rate higher, but the rubber rings around each of the end loops tend to slide slide down causing the strap to fall off the glasses frequently

These are great retainers. They fit my rayban's and my husband's electric's, and they're very light weight.

Just purchased the Tech cord eyeglass retainer, and am very pleased with the product. I have white hair and was looking for something that blended in and did not distract when wearing earrings or necklace. This product is visually perfect for that. It is also soft, very flexible and comfortable around the neck and face. The slides which attach the cord to my glasses are secure, and not so bulky that I feel pressure on my temples. I'm very pleased with these keepers, and will probably purchase them again, if needed. Might try some colors for fun. (Lavender would be nice, if it were available.)
