I have a big head and the Orbiter would not hold my glasses snug. I tied a bow in the end of each one and now they are a perfect fit for me.

Please, a shorter option!
What several others have said. Please make a shorter option that can hold glasses snug for things like running, biking, river rafting, etc. That would be great!

Looks and acts as shown, but not great in practice
The idea and workings of these are great, but I agree the wire is too long. Additionally, as someone with longer hair, if it's on top of my hair it either sticks out really far, or is shoved down by my hair making it press on my ears. it's so close to perfect.

A few things that would make these nice
These are well built retainers. I'm constantly having to deal with my glasses not staying in place. Even with silicone nose pads, after having had my nose chiseled down, they still don't stay in place unless I have a good retainer that keeps the frames tight to my face. I was excited when I saw these and was happy to have them come with two pairs of grips for slim and thicker earpieces. The two faults I have with them are that they don't allow for me to get my glasses tight to my face. (the cables are just a bit too long for my head) and the way they adjust is great but the pieces that hold each cable together needs to grip the cable a bit tighter so that they are less likely to slide loose. On last thing is that the smaller grips are grey colored. I would rather have them black to match like the larger grips do so the retainer is less likely to stand out. If these retainers have been the best ones that I've found to wear in more formal situations. I like the fact that they eliminate having a cord hanging on the back of my neck or getting caught on my shirt or jacket collars.
