Shane got his first shot on the river after a local radio station offered a $10 trip, he hasn’t looked back since. With over 29 years running the river he is a local legend on the Ocoee. The river has brought Shane a lot of happiness in life including introducing him to his wife Heather. On his off days you will find him running rivers all over the country, including “rowing a 14ft bucket down the Grand Canyon.” Shane is the type of guy you wanted taking you down the river and if you ever get that lucky ask him about the time he tied his raft back together using a pair of Chums.
