The tightest fit

These are the tightest Chums retainers I have tested. As for all of the Chums retainers which are slid into the temples, be aware that if you pull, it will eventually come out. For the Halfpipes though, if you get your frames deep enough, it will require pulling very hard to yank them loose, and I don't see it happening. Any sport eye-wear should not be a problem, but slimmer frames may not be tight enough.

Love it!!!

I love it. The color and fit. I haven’t tried any of the other ones sold by chums but that is because I love this so much I haven’t needed to.

My favorite river running Chums

These are my favorite river running Chums due to the balance of size and floatation. I've tried the the Halfpipe, Halfpipe Float and the Glassfloat classic. I do occasionally use the Glassfloat Classic if I really need more floatation but the extra bulk and length is a problem with a neoprene hood, helmet and drysuit. The same goes for the Halfpipe Float. With the small frame glasses I usually wear, I'm able to slide the Halfpipe all the way up to the front of my glasses so I don't have too much length in the back to snag on anything. They're comfortable and they hold well. The fact that Chums are made in America makes them even more awesome.

Solid

solid product but the tubing was thicker than anticipated. If you only plan on wearing with a t-shit or tank-top I recommend them but if with anything that has a hood they will get in the way
