Surfshorts Wallet Patterns

Great compact lightweight wallet at a good price point. I've gone through two wallets and they've held coins, cards, various sizes of currency, and even fit with my rfid sleeves. They were great for my daily tap-to-go commutes. However, both wallets had the same point of failure at the zipper's tape. If the tape was more securely fastened to the wallet material and the zipper teeth were a bit more kink resistant, this would be an instant recommend. However, they usually last me about 2 1/2 years before giving out. The pull tab also saw some extra wear, but never wore down before the zippers.

I have been using Chums Surfshorts Wallets for more years than I can remember! Just keep getting new ones as my old ones age gracefully! I’m on 5-6 by now. Love all the features and patterns! The only problems recently is that the key loops fail too soon, pull out of stitching too easily (ribbon cut too short behind stitches??). Add another.25 in of material to solve this problem(?).

Everything a wallet should be, if they made it in tougher materials like leather, Gor-TEX or kevlar, that would be winner winner chicken dinner
