I wear reading glasses during most of my waking hours and appreciate that the bright color of the Baja style retainers help me find my readers after I've set them down. The only complaint that I have about them is that they aren't durable and tend to come apart after only a couple of months of wear. I don't know what the fix would require, but this product would be a better value if it was more durable. If you expect to wear this style of retainer regularly, don't expect them to last very long in the condition that you purchased them in, as they "wear out" much too soon and if you want them to look good, you'll need to replace them at regular, two or three month, intervals. At $10 per item, that could easily cost you over $40 per year. While not a lot of money, durability and longevity are factors that you might want to consider before buying this style of retainer.
The strap isn’t sewn together. Instead, it’s folded and glued. My first one came loose after just half an hour of wear, without me doing anything unusual. I bought a second one and had exactly the same problem. It should have been stitched instead of glued. A very disappointed customer.
Just received them, look great, will post an update a year from now
Got tan color one, so pretty that I got two.
I have received compliments on this. Some think it is beaded until they see it close up. I have several different colors so I trade them out.
Thank you for leaving a review for our Baja Urban product. We're glad to hear that you love the colors and have received compliments on it. We hope you continue to enjoy trading out the different colors. Have a great day!

I am thrilled with my Baja Urbana!!!!! Beautiful and vivid colors and high quality material!!
So this is my second try on these and after 4 months, they’ve gone bad again.
The strap isn’t actually sewn together. Instead, it’s folded and glued. My first one I’ll admit that I wore it in the lake a bunch and that likely wore out the glue. It shouldn’t be glued anyway.
To Chums’ credit, when I emailed them about it, they offered me to pick a free replacement as well as a free floater so I could use it on the lake. I picked another Baja Urban. Well, 4 months later, the glue has separated again and the fabric opened in a few places. No watersports at all and I’ve been trying to take care of it too. Bummed.

The Baja Urban design is fun, functional, and serves as a cute accessory while helping me to know where my reading glasses are at all times. As shown, I appreciate that they don’t have the “tightening thingy” that would not work for readers.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review for our Baja Urban product. We are delighted to hear that you find it not only cute, but also functional and fun. We understand the struggle of keeping track of reading glasses, and we are glad that our design helps with that. Thank you for choosing our product. Have a great day!
Really like the color and thinness, but do miss the tightening thingy that my other chums have to shorten the length.

Perfect
Thank you for taking the time to review, William!
Easy to put on (love the rubber loops!), keeps glasses around neck, and looks cool. Taking them on my trip to Antarctica next year!
The picture doesn’t show a rubber piece on the end, hence the no rubber piece.
Great product wouldn’t change a thing.
I have always loved your products, especially the way the rubber ends hold onto the frames so well. This one is attractive and comfortable but it lacks the rubber piece
that adjusts the length. I would much prefer to have that on all croakies as this one hangs quite low. The fabric is nice and soft on the neck whereas some others that are narrower or tightly woven can be irritating.
